Shahid Hanif is the principal of Hanif Litigation, a firm specializing in criminal litigation. From regulatory and quasi-criminal cases to criminal defence, Shahid handles all aspects of criminal law. With a trial-heavy defence record built over years of intensive courtroom practice, Shahid routinely represents clients facing complex, high-stakes Criminal Code charges—including manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death.

His foundation in trial advocacy was shaped under the mentorship of two distinguished litigators: the Honourable Judge J. LeBlond (then KC) in Northern BC and Brent B.
